Hyndluljoth (The Poem of Hyndla)

This design is inspired by Hyndluljoth (The Poem of Hyndla). It shows the Vanir Goddess Freyja riding the transformed human, Ottar, and beckoning the giantess Hyndla to ride along with them on her wolf , to obtain knowledge of Ottar's ancestry. It is an original design,burned onto a pine plaque (the art of pyrography) and stained in wood tones.
